Create a personal web page for this class. It will be where you place links to other writings/work you do during the semester. On this page you need to include your name, a photo of yourself, and a brief statement on why you are in this class.
Also include a list of media you use every week -- you should subdivide the higher-level media (e.g. television), into more specific media (e.g. science fiction shows). Feel free to specify specific instances (e.g. Lost, Battlestar Galactica) although you do not need to specify all. As a starting point, remember that high-level media include telephones, television, movies, radio, music, computer games, email, instant messenger, etc.

About Me

I am a Graduate Student at the Computer Science Department, currently in my 4th semester. I work in the Parasol Lab under Dr. Jeff Huang. My academic interests primarily lie in Software Engineering. Currently, I am researching ways to automatically fix various bugs in real world programs.

Why CSCE 656?

The explosive growth of new media forms in the last few years is both exciting and a bit intimidating. We are discovering new ways to interact and communicate with the world around us. From the smartphones of last decade to Virtual Reality of the present day, we are exposed to constantly evolving media every day.
Through this course, I wish to gain a head start in understanding these new technologies and how they affect us. Gaining this knowledge, I hope to be able to effectively improve my quality of life as well as of those around me.
